Notice of Financial Support Availability to Conference Participants:

The Southeastern Section of ASEE participated in the 2017 Zone II conference in Puerto Rico, and we recognize that hurricanes Irma and Maria have had lasting impacts on the people and engineering programs in Puerto Rico. ASEE-SE is committed to providing support to increase participation in the Section by people impacted from these weather events.  ASEE-SE is accepting applications to provide financial support to students, faculty, or ASEE members to attend the 2021 ASEE-SE conference at Auburn University. To apply for an award, e-mail a letter (2-page maximum) to Dr. Todd Schweisinger . Applicants may request financial support for one or more of: conference registration, travel to the conference, hotel, and food.  Please include contact information for the applicant, description of how you have been impacted by weather events in Puerto Rico, your motivation for attending the 2019 ASEE-SE conference, and a description of your financial need that clearly indicates your financial request. Applications received by 31 January 2021, will receive full consideration, and applications will remain open until all the funds are awarded.
